New LG Tribute Dynasty smartphone surfaces, coming to Sprint, Boost, and Virgin mobile

User manual for a new LG Tribute series smartphone has surfaced. Dubbed Tribute Dynasty, the device carries a model number of LG-SP200. A device with the same model number has already been certified by the FCC. Nothing much is known about the device at the moment, except that it will be available in the US through Sprint, Boost, and Virgin mobile. Android Oreo update for G6 being tested by LG

A day after LG announced the roll-out of the final Oreo build for its V30 smartphone, it has come to light that the South Korean company is already testing Oreo update for the G6. The beta testing is currently going on in China. A user even shared screenshots of an Oreo-powered G6 unit. AT&T's Huawei Mate 10 Pro launch pushed to February

A report from earlier this month confirmed that the Huawei Mate 10 series will hit AT&T and Verizon in the US sometime in January 2018. However, now it's come to light that the launch - at least for the AT&T Mate 10 Pro - has been pushed to February. The latest piece of news comes from a new report from The Information, which also quotes the Chinese company's CEO Richard Yu as saying that certain elements of Huawei's custom Android skin EMUI were "stupid." LG partners with HERE to develop next-gen telematics solution for driver less vehicles

LG has announced that it has partnered with HERE Technologies to develop a next-gen telematics solution for autonomous vehicles. The solution - a data communications hub - will be combination of LG's telematics tech and HERE's map data and location services.
