In a day like April Fools' you would expect all kinds of shenanigans from tech companies. You would think a smartphone with dual selfie cameras in a notch on the bottom side of the screen sounds like a joke, but the actual funny part is that this is real patent Xiaomi requested from the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO). New Oppo Reno teasers are artwork with hidden clues about the phone

The Oppo Reno marketing campaign will target young creative users, so the company collaborated with a number of illustrators to create teaser images. Note that these aren't just pictures, they contain subtle hints about the feature of the Reno. You can try and puzzle out what the clues mean or you can read the info from TENAA. Anyway, here's an image from Brett Ryder from Norfolk, UK. He's worked with Coca-Cola and Penguin Books before and is currently working with the Glastonbury Festival. Xiaomi Mi 9 SE Brown Bear Edition unveiled, coming April 9

Xiaomi has partnered with LINE Messenger to bring a limited edition Brown Bear Mi 9 SE. The phone is customized with the friendly character's logo on the back of the phone along with a custom Brown Bear theme. It comes in a special packaging which includes a case, 10,000 mAh power bank (MSRP CNY99), certificate and stickers all bearing the LINE FRIENDS character. Meizu 16s pops up on AnTuTu, posts an impressive score

Meizu 16s is closer to a launch and the device finally appeared on AnTuTu. The phone reached an impressive score of 357,975 and the listing revealed the result was achieved by a Snapdragon-855 powered unit with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. The new Meizu 16s is expected to look a lot like the Meizu 16, but with thinner top and bottom bezels. It will have a tall screen and Full HD+ resolution - 18.6:9 ration and 2232 x 1080 pixels. Brian Shen, Oppo VP, was teasing a 10x zoom phone in the past few weeks, and all roads led to the Oppo Reno being the one. People are always concerned about the SAR of phones and software bloat, but why isn't anyone talking about how calorie dense modern operating systems have become? Android offers nothing but sweets!
