LG V30S ThinQ can be yours for just $679.99 for a limited time

LG initially priced the V30S ThinQ at a whopping $929.99 unlocked in the United States, but apparently not a lot of people were willing to pay that much. We assume that's the case since the phone's price dropped by $200 while it was still on pre-order. It's now been in stock for a while, and today you can take advantage of the best deal we've seen yet - namely, purchasing a V30S ThinQ for only $679.99. That's $250 off the launch price and $50 cheaper than it was before this point. The only caveat here is that there's a limited supply available at this price. So if you're interested in...

Oppo Realme 1 review

The 2018 budget smartphone scene is an unforgiving battlefield. It's a place not too many manufacturers are willing to go to and Oppo, for sure, hasn't gone down so low on the price scale up so far. The Realme 1 is Oppo's first device in a brand new ultra-budget line and it's nothing short of a loud and flamboyant show of power. Potentially even a declaration of war.

Google Pixel 3 and 3 XL leaked screen protectors reveal stereo speakers, notch

Since Android P has native support for screen notches, it's long been assumed that Google would adopt the latest trend in the mobile world with its next-gen Pixels. Today a leak purporting to show screen protectors for both the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL confirms that, partially. If this is legit (and that's a big "if"), then only the bigger model will sport a notch, as you can see from the images below. The smaller Pixel 3 will have a different design, basically emulating what happened last year with the Pixel 2 and 2 XL, which, from the front, looked nothing alike. Google Pixel 3...

Samsung Galaxy A9 Star (G8850) shows up in quick hands-on video

Rumors of two Samsung devices got conflated - the G8850 with dual cameras and what eventually became the Galaxy S Light Luxury (aka S8 Lite). G8850 rumors have been revitalized with this short hands-on video and its purported name is "Galaxy A9 Star". Note that the S Light Luxury was rumored as the A8 Star at one point. Anyway, according to TENAA, the phone packs a 6.28" AMOLED screen with 1,080 x 2,220 px resolution (note that TENAA updated the specs since they were initially published). It comes with a large 3,700 mAh battery and will have slightly different dimensions than the Galaxy...

LG Q7 Stylus+ to debut in Taiwan soon

Last week, LG unveiled the Q7 in three versions - LG Q7, LG Q7α and LG Q7+ - but the previously rumored LG Q7 Stylus wasn't a part of the announcement. It turns out the phone is still coming and pretty soon as evidenced by its Taiwanese National Communications Commission filling. An LG handset with model name LG LM-Q710 was listed under the name LG Q7 Stylus+. It seems the Q7 Stylus+ will launch alongside the LG Q7+, also certified by the Taiwanese NCC, in the country. The filling doesn't share much of the specs but we expect the LG Q7 Stylus+ to have similar specs to the LG...

OnePlus 6 removed the Always On Display feature just before launch

OnePlus has strong opinions about what its users want - and it's not wireless charging and not an Always On Display either. The feature was available on pre-release units, but was disabled with the very first update. Apparently, the battery life trade-off was deemed too great. The now-removed Always On Display option Here's a (now deleted) response from OnePlus: We have an official update from our Technical Team confirming that always on display on OnePlus 6 was removed due to battery saving concern. We hope that this clarifies your concern. Let us know if there's...
