Xiaomi quietly launched the Redmi Note 12R Pro back in April, a CNY 1,800 ($250/€230/₹20,500) phone with the Snapdragon 4 Gen 1. But there was no vanilla model – until now. The Redmi Note 12R (23076RA4BC) just appeared on the China Telecom website and, interestingly, has a better chipset. It hasn’t been confirmed, but the phone’s SM4450 chip is expected to be branded “Snapdragon 4 Gen 2” when it is unveiled by Qualcomm.
