Google launched Daydream last year at I/O 2016, making it the company's first official attempt at mobile VR. Unfortunately, the feature did not quite take off and hardware support from most device manufacturers never came. If you go to the Daydream website right now, you will see support for six devices, including the Pixel, Pixel XL, Moto Z, Axon 7, Mate 9 Pro and the ZenFone AR, with the Galaxy S8 support still coming even though it was announced back at I/O 2017.
